| 1. the naked kiss
I liked this movie a lot. It's a pretty weird story where there's no clear hero or villain or anything (besides that one guy) and the acting is really great.
2. clash of the titans
The special effects in this were really amazing. And I don't think I've seen any movies where Greek or Roman gods or whatever are arguing with each other and stuff. I thought those scenes were really fun to watch for some reason. This is just a cool adventure movie.
3. rocky
This was okay. I can't really think of anything to say about it. It was enjoyable.
4. inglourious basterds
This was pretty disappointing. I feel like everyone who works with Tarantino is too scared to say to him like, "Jeeze Quentin, don't you think this scene is like forty min too long?" This movie is really long. There's a lot of talking in it and every scene is trying build up suspense so much that it gets kind of boring after a while. The acting is pretty amazing though and pretty much everything about how the movie looks is great but I was just sort of restless during like half of the movie I'm sorry to say. I was really excited about seeing this too.
5. paper heart
This is was kind of disappointing, but I really enjoyed seeing it with the person who I saw it with (my girlfriend). Like Quentin Tarantino, I think Michael Cera is really just overdoing it and not thinking about people who have seen him give this performance fifty times already (this year). He get's this week's "Michael Cera Award" for person who keeps doing the same thing over and over again.

| 1. all the real girls
This movie made me really sad. I hope nothing like this movie ever happens to me in real life. I don't think it will though because I'm not like the main character at all. It seemed so real though.
2. district 9
This was a really good movie. I think it's exactly what movies should be like. It can appeal to regular people too who like Armageddon. But also it was made by people who actually thought about it.
3. ponyo
I liked this movie. It was hard for me to pay attention to it though because of other stuff but I was still into it. It was really cute and made me happy.
4. step brothers
This movie was funny. It was pretty silly but at the same time it still had things in it that made me kind of sad but were still sort of ridiculous. Please don't read the rest if you haven't seen this movie. The part at the end where they do that performance and everyone is having these fantasy memory things in their heads and Will Ferrell's brother remembers one time when they flew a kite together and he said like "you're the best brother ever" like that part made me feel really good. I think when there's stuff like that in movies probably having to do with brothers or making movies I usually get sentimental about it.
5. snoopy, come home
This didn't really feel like a movie and I thought Snoopy made some really crazy decisions that were really out of character for him. It was weird because when I read the reviews on Netflix, a lot of people felt exactly the same way as me. I feel like whenever I read movie reviews I barely ever find that most people have already said exactly what I thought about the movie and feel the same way as me. I mean usually people have way better opinions than I do.
